Sr. Power Bi expert to support and assist in dashboard Development for a consulting company

Our client is looking for a Sr. Power Bi expert to support and assist in dashboard Development for a consulting company.

Must Have's:

• 10+ years of experience with SQL language
• 8+ years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, SQL
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI
• reports and SQL queries

Nice to Have's:

• Data Architecture experience
• Knowledge of DAX, M, PowerShell, and T-SQL, Python and or R
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics or a relevant field
• Microsoft Data and/or BI certifications are a strong asset

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards -understanding business requirements, designing the data models and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights
• Strong understanding of the capabilities of Power BI
• Ability to understand data analysis and visualization principles
• Able to quickly provide both MDX and DAX solutions
• Understanding of the ETL process
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis that can help in decision-making.
• Trouble shooting and optimizing Power BI solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external partners to further capitalize on data assets.
• Have a passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest features, updates and practices to leverage Power Bi effectively.
