Position: Sr. ETL Developer to develop Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) data solutions for a major insurance client - 779

Duration: 9 months

Location: Hybrid Toronto

Must haves:

• 10+ years exp as an ETL developer working with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Snowflake, AWS and Oracle databases.
• Snowflake/Snowpipe and IICS API for real-time data ingestion.
• PL/SQL , java and Python programming
• Data integration/data warehouse exp

Your mission:

• Collaborate with the team and the other IT departments to analyze, develop, test, and deploy solutions to maintain or integrate new business areas to our data warehouse and Snowflake migration.
• Understand business requirements, translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and develop Data ingestion & consumption pipelines as per intact data ingestion pattern.
• Design and deelop realtime data streaming pipelines with robust data reconciliation and observability mechanism.
• Take leadership in defining the Software Engineering best practices regarding the code standardization, branching strategy, pipeline code optimization, cost optimization, design patterns, etc.
• Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects to address unique business problems, provide project estimates and design complex data transformations solutions, utilizing appropriate tools and technologies.
• Document implementation steps and produce quality evidence. Create and maintain system documentation.
• Provide technical support to Business Intelligence analysts, testers, and deployment coordinators throughout our development cycle and for production support, typically during regular business hours.
