Sr. Developer - CIAM & Ping - RQ02013

Duration: 8 months (possibility of extension)

Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto - 2 days a week)


Project Description

We are seeking a skilled Developer with hands-on experience implementing and managing Ping Identity solutions, specifically Ping Access Manager (AM) and Ping Directory Server (DS). In this role, you will focus on building, configuring, and supporting secure and scalable identity and access management (IAM) solutions that are critical to our enterprise and customer identity management initiatives


Role Deliverables

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Ping Access Manager (AM) to deliver secure authentication, authorization, and access management features.
  • Deploy, administer, and optimize Ping Directory Server (DS), ensuring directory service reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to connect Ping solutions to enterprise applications and APIs.
  • Develop and customize authentication workflows including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide operational support for Ping AM and DS environments.
  • Assist in automating deployment and management processes via CI/CD pipelines and scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain quality standards for identity-related development.
  • Document configurations, implementation details, and support procedures


Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.


Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Ping Access Manager (AM) and Ping Directory Server (DS) in production or large-scale environments.
  • Experience integrating Ping products with enterprise applications and APIs.
  • Familiarity with directory services, LDAP operations, schema basics, replication, and tuning.
  • Basic familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment platforms is a plus.
  • Good understanding of IAM protocols and standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA, and SSO.
  • Solid programming skills, preferably in Java or similar backend languages.


Other Skills

  • Proficiency in English with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements
