Scope: Our mining client is looking to set up their data and analytics team within Canada. They are looking to take a lead on data platforms and foundations and create unique capabilities for our client
Must haves:
- 7+ years as a data scientist with experience working with Python (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
- ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, DVC, SageMaker) and Advanced statistical modeling (time series, causal inference, A/B testing)
- Large-scale data (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
- Visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash)
- Exposure to MLOps (CI/CD, model monitoring
- Mining experience highly preferred
