Our valued client is looking for a Sr. (Bilingual) Change Manager to to manage to design, implement, and oversee the change management strategy and plan for a business transformation.


  • An initial 12-month contract with 2 extension option periods December 31, 2028
  • Physical presence at the work location (Ottawa or Montreal) on a regular basis in alignment with the organization's business needs.
  • 7.5 hour work days.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a change management strategy and plan for the project;
  • Apply change management best practices, methodology, processes and tools, including the design and execution of change readiness assessments and change impact analyses;
  • Develop and maintain change management documentation, working in an integrated way with the Project Management and Change Management teams;
  • Identify change risks and potential impacts, develop change risk mitigation plan, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate change risks;
  • Develop and/or oversee the development of communication, engagement, sponsor/leaders and training plans in collaboration with other relevant teams within the client organization;
  • Monitor change adoption, and provide recommendations to the project team on best practices and targeted interventions that will manage resistance to change;
  • Define, track and report progress against change management performance metrics;
  • Provide sound change management advice and guidance to project leaders in an effort to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across other dependent change initiatives;
  • Conduct presentations and awareness sessions to promote, explain and provide exposure to change management value, principles, processes and tools, as required by the project team and impacted teams needs;
  • Actively participate in project management meetings and provide updates on change management support;
  • Build and maintain connections across the organization in an effort to anticipate change management needs and influence project-related decisions;
  • Ensure transfer of ownership of all change outcomes to proper business leads for sustainment of the implemented changes;


Must have Skills:

  • Reliability clearance
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • 10+ years of experience in Change Management
  • Extensive knowledge of change management best practices and Prosci methodology;
  • Prosci Change Management Certification required
  • Extensive experience with projects involving: technology transformation; operational excellence; change of processes, systems and behaviors.


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in multi-unit mortgage loan insurance business
  • Experience in program management
