Work Location: HYBRID ( In office 2 days a week , moving to 4 days a week in 2026 ( Jan to June TBD but need to able to come to office when the time comes)

Scope of Project: API security and Akamai API Security

Team Size/Culture: 8- 12 ppl

Responsibilities:

Development of API security roadmaps

Drive API security processes and tooling enhancements to support API Security alerting, vulnerability, and API risk management

API Security OWASP TOP 10 expertise

Improve API Delivery and Lifecycle for API Security (Including shifting API Security left)

Create requirements documents and support guides for platforms integration

API Security related certifications

knowledge of database analysis, SQL skills, reporting including PowerBI or Tableau is an Asset

Hands on role, within the platform, plus help with analysis and documentation etc

Ability to take requirements and build analysis/models as required to support decisionmaking, reporting and objectives

Identify and solve problems through evaluation of processes, systems, structures to identify issues and determine improvement steps

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

Experienced Akamai API Security or NoName API Security Analyst

Experience with NoName automations and integrations

Experience with developing API security strategy and lifecycle

Requirements Management - ability to elicit, document and manage requirements from stakeholders

Ability to take requirements and build analysis/models as required to support decisionmaking, reporting and objectives

Process Mapping and Analysis - Understanding and mapping business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

Identify and solve problems through evaluation of processes, systems, structures to identify issues and determine improvement steps

API security certification ( Akamai) or no name API security

Knowledge of database analysis, SQL skills, reporting including PowerBI or Tableau
