Position Title: Sr Consultant, Global Background Screening Governance

Line of Business: HR process delivery

Duration: 12 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid, 3 days on site (First Monday of the week, first Friday of every month)

Office Location: 81 Bay 34th Floor



Job Description:

As a member of the HR Process Delivery team, you will support and drive our response to the newly introduced OSFI Integrity & Security guidelines surrounding background screening, including global screening framework and approach. In this role, you will operate in a hub and spoke model with various background screening partners across all our global jurisdictions in achieving standardization in approach, ensuring integrity and completeness in our screening processes and liaising as needed with various risk and governance stakeholders.


Must Have Requirement:

• 3-5 years of experience in risk management, audit, and regulatory compliance (OSFI familiarity preferred)

• Proven success in global process optimization, especially in HR and background screening

• Strong governance and stakeholder engagement across cross-functional, international teams

• Solid project management skills with oversight of complex initiatives and milestone tracking

• Skilled in leadership, relationship-building, and executive-level communication

• Advanced data analysis and dashboard development using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

• Supports global operations with flexibility across time zones and regional standards

• Committed to integrity, compliance, and balanced risk management


Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with HR technologies (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, or background screening platforms)

• Change management expertise (e.g., Prosci or ADKAR methodology)

• Experience in vendor management

• Banking experience would be an asset
