ServiceNow Developer - RQ02116
Duration: Until 31 Jul (possibility of extension)
Location: Remote
We are seeking a highly experienced and certified A ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and customize applications within the ServiceNow platform to streamline business processes. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, scripting (JavaScript), UI customization, and supporting upgrades.
Role Deliverables
- Collaborates with the client’s platform team to enable necessary plug-ins
- Develops and configures components based on functional specifications
- Works closely with the Solution Architect and Functional Lead/BA for technical guidance and design adherence
- Participates in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews for progress updates
- Conducts unit testing for all developed components
- Fixes defects identified during the Build and UAT phases
- Retests after resolution to confirm compliance with requirements
- Maintains technical documentation for configurations, including implementation steps
- Conducts knowledge transfer sessions with the client’s platform support team
- Supports the client’s platform team to execute the cut-over plan for go-live
- Provides hyper care support and manages the tracking/resolution of hyper care defects
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and development.
- Ability to design, develop and deploy custom applications in ServiceNow
- Experience with integrations between ServiceNow and other third-party systems
- Experience with ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) and preferably HRSD.
- Strong, practical experience with JavaScript, APIs, data imports, and web technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, information systems, or a related field
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
