Description
Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior Technology Architect to modernize and maintain the IM/IT infrastructure through alignment with Government of Canada directives such as Cloud First Adoption Strategy in the public sector. The resource will assist with the migration of legacy systems to enterprise data centers and cloud platforms (primarily Microsoft Azure).
Responsibilities:
- Define transition steps and plans to move from current to future application architectures, including interoperability with existing applications and migration strategies where applicable.
- Transfer knowledge to personnel to continue to support the architecture established.
- Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintaining cloud-based services.
- Design, develop, deploy, migrate, integrate, and configure an Azure infrastructure.
- Implement Azure authentication and securing data.
- Designing a business continuity strategy for cloud infrastructure and services.
Must have:
- Azure cloud experience
- Firewall experience
- Security experience
AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
