Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in Infrastructure and Cloud Services to support the design and execution of a multi-cloud migration with GCP and AWS

Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada working MST hours

Must Haves:

• 8+ years experience as a Solution Architect specializing in Infrastructure and Cloud Services with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong background in cloud migration and platform consolidation (for AWS, Azure and GCP)
• Proven expertise in implementing, designing, and migrating PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS solutions across multiple cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Citrix NetScaler, XenDesktop, and XenApp
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure Architect, AWS Certified Solutions, Google Professional Architect (all three preferred)

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Background in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on cloud implementations, migrations, and optimizations across GCP, AWS, and Azure
• Design and execute migration strategies for PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into cloud architecture solutions
• Lead cloud platform consolidation efforts to streamline operations and reduce costs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to continually improve infrastructure solutions
