Description
Our municipal client is seeking a Senior Service Desk Analyst to assist in supporting an ERP (Diamond) upgrade project including administration in Dynamics GP and SQL Server.
Candidates can be 100% remote in Alberta. Occasional in-office work may be required. Hours will vary between 20-40 hours/week
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience in a Service Desk Analyst role providing Tier 2/3 level support
- Strong SQL Server administration skills (2019 preferred)
- Experience with Diamond ERP (Or similar ERP systems) systems in production environments
- Proven troubleshooting abilities from basic configuration to code-level debugging
Nice to haves:
- Experience with municipal or government IT systems
- Diamond Municipal Solutions implementation/support experience
- Microsoft Dynamics GP administration expertise
- Knowledge of property taxation and utility billing systems
- ITIL certification or demonstrated IT Service Management experience
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and business intelligence tools
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities:
- Handle complex issues escalated from Tier 1 support
- Perform detailed system diagnostics and root cause analysis
- Apply configuration changes, patches, and code-level fixes
- Manage escalations to vendors when required
