Position Overview

We're seeking a Senior SEO Strategist to lead and execute the organic search strategy for Mobile brands. This role will be responsible for driving organic visibility, traffic growth, and digital presence across both brands, while collaborating closely with paid search partners to create a cohesive search marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive and complimentary SEO strategies for Public Mobile websites

Lead technical SEO initiatives to improve overall site performance

Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis specific to the telecom industry

Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing content and guide new content creation

Perform regular SEO audits and implement recommendations across both brand properties

Monitor and analyze SEO metrics, providing regular performance reports and insights

Stay current with SEO best practices and telecom industry trends

Work closely with the SEM team to create integrated search strategies that maximize ROI

Coordinate keyword targeting and ad copy development with the SEM partners to ensure consistency across paid and organic search efforts

Analyze data from both SEO and SEM campaigns to identify opportunities for cross-channel optimization

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of SEO experience preferred, with at least 3+ years in a strategic role.
  • Search Engine Optimization (all areas, on-page, off-page, technical)
  • Content writing, keyword research and content optimization for digital content.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities at the same time, working with various internal stakeholders and agency partners at the same time and reporting results to senior leadership. (aka, excellent organizational and communication skills).


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • SEM (search engine marketing)
  • Agency experience - or experience working with agency partners
  • Adobe analytics (and analytics and reporting experience)

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience working with digital teams, developers and analysts.

Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEM Rush etc)

Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Proficiency in SEO audit tools and crawling software

Experience with content management systems

Familiarity with paid search platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising

Collaboration and Integration

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how SEO and SEM work together to create a comprehensive search marketing strategy. They should be able to:

Align SEO and SEM efforts to create a unified search presence

Use insights from paid search campaigns to inform organic search strategies and vice versa

Develop integrated reporting that showcases the combined impact of SEO and SEM efforts

Collaborate on budget allocation decisions to maximize overall search marketing ROI
