Job Title: SAP RAR Functional Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) Functional Consultant to lead the functional delivery of SAP RAR, ensuring alignment with our revenue processes and IFRS 15 requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating the business Blueprint into a working solution, guiding configuration, integration, and validation activities across the implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed Design & Configuration
• Refine “TO-BE” process flows into detailed configuration specifications for SAP RAR.
• Configure revenue recognition rules, settlement objects, revenue item categories, and settlement profiles in S/4HANA.
• Translate approved WRICEF specifications into system configuration and drive configuration workshops.
• Integration & Validation
• Implement and validate integration touchpoints with SAP SD, FI/CO, and external systems as defined in the interface catalog.
• Collaborate with BTP Integration and ABAP teams to ensure seamless data flow and compliance with design requirements.
• Support end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and validation of revenue recognition scenarios.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with business process owners to ensure SAP RAR design meets operational and compliance needs.
• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP RAR functionality and best practices.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and provide guidance to internal teams.

Must Haves

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP RAR Functional Consultant in S/4HANA environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards and how they are operationalized in SAP.
• Proven experience configuring revenue recognition rules, settlement profiles, and related RAR objects.
• Solid understanding of SAP SD and FI/CO integration with RAR.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams (BTP, ABAP) to ensure seamless integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
