Senior SAP Functional Analyst – HCM / SuccessFactors

Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior SAP Functional Analyst responsible for owning SAP HCM Payroll and providing expert functional support across SuccessFactors to ensure accurate, compliant, and stable enterprise HR operations.

3-month contract with possible extension

Must Have:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM, including Payroll, PA/OM, and Time Management
• Deep expertise configuring SAP HCM Payroll (schemas, PCRs, wage types, tax models, retro processing)
• Proven experience supporting end-to-end payroll cycles, including year-end activities
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding) and its integration with SAP HCM
• Ability to act as a Tier 3 functional escalation point and troubleshoot complex HR/payroll issues

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with third-party HR/payroll integrations (e.g., Kronos, ADP, Greenlight, SilkRoad)
• Exposure to S/4HANA readiness or HR transformation projects
• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (CPI, IDocs, SFTP, BIB)

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary functional expert for SAP HCM Payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and system stability.
• Configure, support, and enhance SAP HCM and SuccessFactors modules in alignment with HR and payroll processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex payroll, time, and data integration issues.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, IT, and external vendors to deliver enhancements and support projects.
• Lead or support testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems.
