Description
Our client is embarking on a full-scope, Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation as part of a multi-year transformation program. This role will serve as the Finance Lead, responsible for guiding the design, build, and deployment of end-to-end finance capabilities within S/4HANA. The environment includes complex financial, capital, and regulatory processes typical of the Ontario utilities sector (utilities experience is a strong asset but not mandatory).
Location: Markham, ON (On-site Tuesday-Thursday - Mandatory)
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: July 2027
Work Mode: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days/week onsite)
Project Scope - ECC to S4 HANA
Must Haves
10+ years of SAP Finance experience with at least one S/4HANA implementation (preferably Greenfield).
Strong expertise across FICO, PS, and finance planning processes.
Proven experience designing and leading large-scale Finance workstreams.
Strong understanding of integration points with logistics, procurement, and project systems.
Should have strong knowledge of Project Systems, FI (GL/AA/AP/AR/banking/Debt&Investment), CO (Planning/CCA/PCA/PS).
Nice to Have
Ontario Utility Experience
IS-U experience not required but knowledge is an asset.
