Our Quality Assurance client is seeking a: Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and execute automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright in the trading applications domain

Contract QA role focused on hands-on test framework development, test case design, and component-level validation for trading systems.

Must Haves

• 10+ years in **Quality Engineering** or **Automation Testing**
• Strong proficiency with **Python** for test development
• Experience using **Playwright** test automation framework
• Hands-on ability to design and write **test cases** for complex **trading applications**
• Practical knowledge of **SQL** for data validation and test logic

Nice to Have

• Experience building testing systems for financial or portfolio platforms
• Familiarity with component isolation and end-to-end pairing of modules
• Exposure to CI/CD integration for test automation
• Work within multi-engineer QA teams on large automation deliveries

Responsibilities

• Write detailed automated test cases for trading and portfolio applications
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Playwright
• Isolate and validate individual components and test pairwise integration
• Build testing systems aligned with QA standards and architecture
• Collaborate with team members to enhance automation coverage
• Leverage SQL to verify data transformations and trading logic
• Continuously refine test scenarios to improve system reliability
