Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for a Senior Python Developer with Flask/FastAPI to develop a Pharmacy Recommendation Engine.

Duration: EOY - Dec 31st

Location: Brampton (1 day/week onsite preferred - Flexible)

Work hours: 40 hours/week

Project: Pharmacy Recommendation Engine

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, preferably using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Design and implement microservices architectures that scale with demand and integrate efficiently with other systems.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Must Have Skills:

• Expertise in Python and frameworks Flask or FastAPI
