Description
Location: Hamilton, ON
Work Model: 2 Days Onsite Mandatory (Tues/Weds) / following week 3 days/week
Hours: 35/Week
Contract: 3+ Months (possibility of extension)
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and execution for GIS, data analytics, and knowledge management initiatives
- Coordinate with municipal stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee project documentation and communication across technical and business teams
- Manage schedule, risk, and resource allocation for multi-stream data programs
- Ensure projects align with organizational data governance and strategic objectives
Must Haves
- 10+ years managing data projects across GIS, data analytics, and knowledge management environments
- Proven track record in project management for complex public sector data programs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional information management and analytics initiatives
- Post-secondary education in project management, data management, or related discipline
Nice to Have
- Experience in local government or municipal data systems
- Familiarity with GIS data integration and visualization environments
