Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (10+ years) to develop and execute an IT Asset Management remediation strategy using audit and ITSM frameworks- 40775

Location Address: Hybrid - Toronto - 2 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday)

Subject to change: 3-4 days onsite may be required based on business needs

Contract Duration: 6 months (Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE)

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Story Behind the Need

Business group: The role sits within EDO - Tech Portfolio Management, supporting the IT Service Management Office (ITSMO). This portfolio focuses on core ITSM functions including incident, problem, change, and IT asset management, with ServiceNow as the primary platform.

Project: This mandate is driven by an audit-related initiative, requiring the development and execution of a remediation strategy to address IT Asset Management (ITAM) currency gaps, including end-of-life (EOL) and out-of-support software and hardware.

The engagement is initially 6 months, with a focus on rapidly mobilizing, defining, and initiating a structured plan in collaboration with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will:

• Develop a comprehensive remediation plan to address audit findings related to ITAM and system currency
• Consolidate and align ITSM deliverables to reduce audit exposure
• Identify and address currency gaps across software and hardware assets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to initiate execution and track progress on remediation activities

Typical Day in Role:

• Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, timelines, scope, and deliverables
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements
• Engage key stakeholders across Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP), including VPs and Directors (ITSM & ITAM)
• Define validation plans and oversee evidence collection for audit requirements
• Build audit closure packages, mapping requirements to outcomes and remediation actions
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to steering committees and sponsors
• Provide ongoing status reporting to program leadership

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 10+ years of experience in project management

2) Hands-on experience with audit/regulatory requirements

3) IT Asset Management (ITAM) / IT currency project experience

4) Intermediate to advanced skills with MS PowerPoint and Excel

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Experience with Service Now Platform (specifically with ITAM Module)

2) Experience with FI / banking

3) Bilingual in Spanish is an asset though not a defining factor for the role

Education:

Bachelor's degree

MBA or other related advanced degree nice to have

PMP or PMI certification is a nice to have

3rd Round (optional): Project Sponsor (30 minutes, either virtual or in person)
