Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior Programmer / Software developer to help support the upgrade of an Oracle Forms and Report application on a Technical Debt Reduction project. The directorate plays a critical role in providing In-Service Support for hundreds of custom-built applications and interfaces, in additional to several COTS solutions. The resource will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing and deployment of Oracle Forms and Reports components and related integrations.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the problems outlined by the business clients in terms of factors as style and extent of information to be transferred to and from storage units, variety of items to be processed, extent of storing, and format of final printed results
2. Design detailed programs, flow charts, and diagrams indicating mathematical computation and sequence of machine operations necessary to copy and process data
3. Translate detailed flow charts into coded machine instructions and confer with technical personnel in planning programs
4. Verify accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data and testing them by means of system acceptance test runs made by operating personnel
5. Correct programming errors by revising instructions or altering the sequence of operations
6. Test instructions, and assemble specifications, flow charts, diagrams, layout, programming and operating instructions to document applications for later modification or reference

Must have:

• Secret clearance
• 8+ years of Oracle Forms and Reports
• 10+ years as a Programmer / Software Developer

Nice to have:

• Education (University degree in business or technology OR two-year college diploma in business or technology)
