Senior Product Manager, Data Privacy with Customer Data Platform and Consent Management Tools (OpenTrust) experience to work with a major retail client - 30317


Location: Mississauga (5 days a week on site)

Duration: ASAP until Jan 31, 2026 (Very high chance that it will be extended 1 year)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week


The Sr. Product Manager, Data Privacy partners with local and international product and technology teams to prioritize business use cases, aligning them with the long-term vision and strategy for the Data Privacy portfolio. The data strategy aims to eliminate fragmentation and centralize consent management and digital subject requests within a data trust centre to foster customer trust and drive operational efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Define the long-term vision and strategy for data privacy products, identifying market opportunities through competitive analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Own and manage product roadmaps and feature backlogs, gathering and documenting requirements, and analyzing customer and product data to inform priorities and development cycles.
  • Turn customer and business insights into actionable priorities, setting objectives and key performance indicators, and defining user and business acceptance criteria.
  • Measure success by tracking adoption rates of new data privacy products, improvements in data governance compliance scores, and increased customer engagement with privacy features.
  • Partner with engineering, legal, and marketing teams to deliver integrated solutions that support business growth and enhance customer trust, while driving innovation through collaboration with multiple lines of business.
  • Manage the adoption and integration of new and emerging AI technologies.
  • Own product roadmaps and feature backlogs, stack ranking data privacy use cases across Marketing, Memberships & Loyalty, Financial Services, Store Technology, eCommerce, and Customer Care to ensure maximal value delivery.
  • Consult with the Canada Privacy and Legal teams to ensure alignment with relevant privacy standards.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, with familiarity of Customer Data Platforms, Cookie & Communications consent management tools (e.g., OneTrust), Data subject rights, or related domains.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies-backlog management, strategic stories, iterative development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities-comfortable with data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication skills-comfortable conveying complex topics across technical and business audiences.
  • Proven success in launching platform products from concept to market.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering, marketing, privacy, and legal teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities.
  • Understanding of CASL, Law 25, and global privacy practices.
