Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to enhance cybersecurity risk management and response across public infrastructure systems

Join a high-impact initiative safeguarding critical municipal infrastructure including water, traffic, transportation, energy, and smart city systems. This role focuses on modernizing cybersecurity frameworks for OT environments, developing response protocols, and establishing specialized training programs. The project offers visibility across multiple civic operations and contributes directly to infrastructure reliability and data protection.

6 month contract, remote working PST

Must Haves

• 10+ years in Operational Technology (OT) and Cybersecurity management within public infrastructure environments
• Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment, reporting processes, and incident response planning for OT systems
• Ability to develop cybersecurity playbooks and training programs tailored to OT environments
• Active or eligible security clearance for sensitive municipal systems

Nice to Have

• Previous involvement in smart city or utility-based cybersecurity initiatives
• Background in public sector infrastructure management

Responsibilities

• Update cybersecurity risk management and reporting processes for OT systems
• Develop and document cybersecurity incident response plans and playbooks
• Create and deliver OT-specific cybersecurity training programs and materials
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent application of cybersecurity practices
• Support continuous improvement of security operations across municipal OT environments
