Job Description:

As the Business Analyst (Analytics and Reporting) within the Operational Resilience team, you will play a critical role in leveraging data, advanced analytics, data transformation, and automation to drive operational efficiency and effective data management. You will support the delivery of reports and dashboards, generating actionable insights and key metrics for executive reporting. Your work will ensure that senior management has timely, relevant, and accurate information to make informed decisions.

This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis, combined with expertise in advanced analytics and automation techniques. You will contribute to the development and implementation of sophisticated analytical reporting, providing data-driven insights to enhance business performance and support strategic initiatives.

Must Have Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role within the financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of Canadian banking products and Capital markets

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a primary focus on excel (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Excellent communication skills, able to navigate conversations with multiple directors.

• Experience with BI tools (such as Power BI, Power Automate and Tableau)

Nice to Have:

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Knowledge of capital markets, wealth products and payment systems and functions are an asset

• Working experience in any of the big 5 banks is a strong nice to have
