Our valued financial services client is seeking a Senior Onestream Developer to support financial consolidation, planning, and reporting for a financial services client

Initial 6mo contract in the national capital region (100% remote). 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

As the successful candidate, you will lead the design, build, and optimization of OneStream solutions that support financial consolidation, planning, and reporting, working closely with Finance and IT to deliver scalable, reliable models the business can actually use.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain OneStream applications across consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Build and optimize business rules, data management sequences, dashboards, and workflows
• Partner closely with Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Controllership) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Own integrations between OneStream and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouses, flat files, APIs)
• Troubleshoot performance, data quality, and calculation issues across environments
• Support month-end / quarter-end close activities and ongoing enhancements
• Contribute to solution architecture decisions, documentation, and best practices
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where needed

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with OneStream (development, configuration, and support)
• Strong experience with OneStream business rules (VB.NET), workflows, and data management
• Experience integrating OneStream with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, IFS, etc.
• Hands-on experience with financial consolidation and close processes
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts
• Comfortable working directly with finance stakeholders to gather and refine requirements

Nice to Have Skills

• OneStream certifications (e.g., OneStream Certified Professional)
• Experience with Planning, Forecasting, or XF Marketplace solutions
• Exposure to SQL, data warehouses, or enterprise reporting tools
• Prior experience leading or owning OneStream implementations or major upgrades
• Background in large enterprise or complex multi-entity environments
