Our GTA based, Municipal Government Client requires the services of an Office 365 Solutions Architect is required to focus on strategy, planning, solutioning, rollout, and evolution of the Microsoft 365 platform tools and services, with a forward-looking approach to meet evolving business needs.

ROLE:

This role will oversee the deliverables within the planned schedule of M365 Program, and will be required to work on hybrid model (2 times a week in the office) in the GTA.

Duties

1. Support and build the Microsoft 365 roadmap.

2. Lead the design, implementation, rollout, and optimization of Microsoft 365 Toolset and solutions, with an initial focus on collaboration and SharePoint.

3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for enterprise solutions, translating them into technical designs and architecture.

4. Drive the evaluation, selection, and integration of tools and services to support business processes and workflows effectively.

5. Drive the adoption and utilization of M365 tools across the organization through user training, change management initiatives, and ongoing support.

6. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

7. Develop comprehensive solution architectures and design documents for solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.

MUST HAVE:

8+ years experience with implementation of Microsoft 365 including hands-on design, configuration, deployment, and optimization

Extensive experience in enterprise solutions architecture, technical leadership, and implementation, with a customer-first approach

3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure AD, ADFS, Teams, EMS, PowerApps, Power Automate, SCCM, Intune, MFA, Cloud App Security, Advanced Compliance and other

O365 cloud technologies is required

5+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 7. SharePoint is required"

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or ITIL Foundation are an asset; MCSA and/or MCSE certification in Microsoft Office 365 is preferred

Solid understanding of enterprise IT delivery and cybersecurity principles

Hands-on experience in Agile delivery, with successful large-scale rollouts of Microsoft 365 SaaS solutions, including data ingestion, integration, role based permissions, security, and change management

Have designed and implemented configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency in Microsoft SaaS solutions.
