Senior Mobile QE Automation Engineer - Innovation Lab at Tier 1 Bank

Our Tier 1 Financial Services Client is seeking a Sr QE Automation Engineer specializing in automation and automation frameworks to work on various web and mobile innovation testing initiatives.

In this role you will be working closely with the Development Lead, Program Manager, Scrum Master. You will also be responsible for partnering and communicating closely with both Business and IT partners on testing approach, costing, execution plans and providing clear updates.

Must haves:

• 8+ years as a QE Automation Engineer
• Assist in the overall QE Program strategy for various innovation initiatives
• Apply a hands-on approach developing the framework components, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and authoring/executing product specific test scripts while mentoring junior staff and consultants
• Manage existing automation scripts akin to how engineers manage code. Archiving scripts in source control and updating the script based on newly added requirement and/or changed requirements
• Set project specific test strategies qualifying where automation adds value and where manual testing is best applied
• Direct automation test strategy/plan rooted in assessment of tasks and associated efforts
• Coordinate with solution stakeholders to set transport work plan in Jira/Kanban boards
• Experience with both manual and automation testing
• Experience working in an Agile environment, specifically within Scrum framework
• Experience with Appium and mobile testing automation
• Experience with xCode
