Contract: 6 Months + Extension
Hours: 40
Location: Toronto, ON - 1-2 days onsite
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to drive the development of our Java 2.0 platform. The ideal candidate will focus on data-centric solutions, compliance, and reporting, while leading a small backend development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of Entity and User Services.
- Design and maintain proper data models.
- Integrate open-source systems into the platform.
- Build and manage permission models and compliance systems.
- Work closely with the Product team and Head of Trading to deliver solutions.
- Mentor and guide the development team.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring framework).
- Experience designing data models and backend architectures.
- Knowledge of compliance and reporting systems is highly desirable.
- Leadership experience with mentoring and guiding developers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
