Senior IT Program Manager to lead a PAM/IAM Project with one of our major banking clients- 40133

Location: Toronto/Hybrid: 2 days in-office (will increase to 4 days in future)

Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 2026 - approx. 6 months

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Story Behind the Need

Business group: Project Delivery & Support is currently supporting Cyber & IT Risk Remediation

Project: Cyber & IT Risk Remediation - large risk remediation program - the PM will be implementing a management action plan - set to go to end of Jan 2027

Typical Day in Role:

• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope

• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising

• Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business requirements

• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs

• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing

• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures

• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses

• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized

• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

• Communicating with project team and vendors

Must have skills:

• 10+ years of experience as a IT Project / Program Manager, with some experience preferably in a large FI

• Experience with Privileged Access Management, IAM, and/or related security infrastructure experience

Nice to have:

• Regulatory experience

• Risk Remediation experience

• Active Directory Experience

• Experience supporting multinational teams

• Recent Experience with Top 5 Banks is an asset

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.

• PMP Certification is nice to have

The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT Project/ Program manager with PAM experience at a large multinational organization
