Senior IT Business Analyst to support ERP and various complex business applications

Our large, enterprise client is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to support ERP and various complex business applications.

This is an initial 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employee. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and agreeable to working full-time onsite SW Calgary.

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex environments
• Strong experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models
• Experience supporting ERP projects (implementations/ upgrades)
• Proven ability to lead requirements for enterprise-scale technology/ software initiatives
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Overview: In this role, you’ll work closely with business and IT partners to understand needs, define requirements, and support solutions that deliver real business value across ERP and various complex business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements discovery and analysis for large, cross-functional initiatives
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into clear, actionable requirements
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with diverse teams
• Create high-quality deliverables such as business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Act as a key liaison between business, product, development, and testing teams
• Support solution design, testing, and successful implementation
• Mentor and support the development of other business analysts
