We are seeking experienced Data Engineers to support a high-impact data integration initiative within a complex enterprise environment. This role requires strong expertise in legacy data structures, modern ETL development, and API-based integrations, with a focus on translating and transforming data across multiple platforms.

Project Scope - Hogan-CIS to MDM modernization project

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret IMS DB calls to identify data segments and understand data retrieval logic
• Develop source-to-target data mappings between IBM DB segments and target DB2 table structures and API payloads
• Design, develop, and maintain Talend ETL/data integration jobs
• Implement data transformations and ensure accurate data movement across systems
• Leverage Talend to execute API calls and DB2 SQL queries
• Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business teams to ensure alignment on data requirements
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities
• Document mappings, workflows, and technical specifications

Must Haves

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with IMS DB, including interpreting IMS calls and hierarchical data structures
• Proven experience creating source-to-target data mappings
• Solid experience with DB2 (data structures and SQL querying)
• Strong development experience with Talend (ETL/data integration)
• Experience working with APIs (calling, integrating, and handling payloads via Talend or similar tools)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
