Our valued client is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead, manage, implement and oversee the change management strategy/plan


An initial 4-month contract with 2 extension option periods until August 31, 2027. Hybrid on site (3 days per week) in Ottawa OR Montreal, ON - 7.5 hour work days.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of a change management strategy and plan for the project;
  • Apply change management best practices, methodology, processes and tools, including the design and execution of change readiness assessments and change impact analyses;
  • Develop and maintain change management documentation, working in an integrated way with the Project Management and Change Management teams;
  • Identify change risks and potential impacts, develop change risk mitigation plan, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate change risks;
  • Develop and/or oversee the development of communication, engagement, sponsor/leaders and training plans in collaboration with other relevant teams within CMHC;
  • Monitor change adoption, and provide recommendations to the project team on best practices and targeted interventions that will manage resistance to change;
  • Define, track and report progress against change management performance metrics;
  • Provide sound change management advice and guidance to project leaders in an effort to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across other CMHC’s dependant change initiatives;
  • Conduct presentations and awareness sessions to promote, explain and provide exposure to change management value, principles, processes and tools, as required by the project team and impacted teams needs;
  • Actively participate in project management meetings and provide updates on change management support;
  • Build and maintain connections across CMHC in an effort to anticipate change management needs and influence project-related decisions;
  • Ensure transfer of ownership of all change outcomes to proper business leads for sustainment of the implemented changes;


Must have Skills:

  • Secret level10+ years of experience in Change Management
  • Extensive knowledge of change management best practices and Prosci methodology;
  • Change management certification (Prosci preferred);
  • Lean Six Sigma methodology;
  • Must hold a valid Government of Canada SECRET clearance
  • Extensive experience with projects involving: technology transformation; operational excellence; change of processes, systems and behaviors.


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with SAS migration projects
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
