Location: Mississauga (Hybrid, 1-2x/week)

Our pharmacy technology client is seeking a Senior C#/.NET Developer to support complex enterprise desktop application development, modernization, SQL Server migration/stabilization, and ongoing enhancement work across a large pharmacy/POS application environment. The ideal candidate is a highly self-directed developer with strong C#/.NET, SQL Server, desktop application, API, and database performance experience who can quickly understand complex workflows, read technical/business documentation, and deliver in a fast-paced Agile environment with limited hand-holding.

• 8+ years of hands-on C# / .NET development experience
• Strong experience building or enhancing complex enterprise desktop applications
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience working with large applications involving complex workflows, multiple screens/modules, and business logic dependencies
• Ability to read technical/business documentation and independently determine required development changes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to ramp quickly in unfamiliar application environments
• Experience with Web API / service integration
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Strong communication skills; able to ask clear questions, process information quickly, and work proactively
• Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, or similar modern development tooling

• WPF / MVVM / Prism experience
• Experience modernizing or stabilizing legacy desktop applications
• Experience with POS, pharmacy, retail, inventory, claims, healthcare, or other complex transaction/workflow systems
• Experience supporting SQL migration, database remediation, or post-migration performance tuning
• Windows Services

• Telerik Controls

• RDLC / SQL reporting
• Application configuration, deployment, VM/local environment setup, or client installation experience
