Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Business Process Consultant to support enterprise supply chain process improvement initiatives.

Background:

The organization is undertaking multiple initiatives to improve asset visibility, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance across a large and complex enterprise environment. These efforts aim to strengthen operational support, improve accountability, and enhance the efficiency of materiel management processes. Senior business process expertise is required to assess current practices, identify gaps, and support the design of optimized future-state processes.

Tasks:

• Review existing organizational structures, workflows, and business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct gap analysis between current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) processes and develop optimized workflow models.
• Facilitate process discovery workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate proposed improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps using recognized methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Provide recommendations for process redesign, automation opportunities, and operational improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support implementation, automation, and integration of improved processes.
• Support change management activities, including training, mentoring, and stakeholder communications to enable adoption of new processes.
• Monitor post-implementation results to ensure process improvements deliver expected outcomes and benefits realization.

Must Haves:

• Degree, Diploma or Certification
• Business Process Consultant - 10+ years
• Two large projects - >$10M

Nice to Haves:

• Department of National Defence experience
• Engineering background
