Senior Business Analyst to support multiple projects within a production environment in the public sector.

Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support multiple projects within a production environment.

The contractor will be required to schedule and lead planning sessions with client to gather business requirements to develop detailed business requirements/user stories; develop screen mock-ups, business process maps and data flow diagrams; provide walkthroughs to client and technical teams in relation to detailed business requirements/user stories; document change requests and perform post-release requirements tests and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, plan and lead sessions with clients and partners to gather business information, lessons learned and detailed requirements for the desired outcome on a weekly basis, with the objective of implementing a project solution or to solve a system issue impacting the ongoing operations;
• Develop and document screen, report and interface requirements;
• Develop functional, business, and/or system interface or capability interaction;
• Gather and analyze information to establish the functional needs of a system or project;
• Provide walkthroughs to technical team, before the start of every Sprint (2 weeks iteration) with the detailed business requirements;
• Documenting change requests (CRs) and post-release defects analysis;
• Provide Functional and Impact Analysis documents;
• Backlog items, User Stories, Use cases, Business requirement document, functional specifications, data mapping every two weeks for the new features being added to the tool;
• Develop and implement both as-is and to-be Business Process Maps to determine the end to end flows.
