Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (7+ years) to support regulatory data management and governance initiatives

This role supports regulatory projects ensuring alignment with data retention and disposition standards and governance frameworks. Must Haves

• Governance and regulatory data management experience supporting enterprise compliance teams
• Project delivery from a timeline and risk identification standpoint in complex data governance environments
• Data analytics and Excel reporting capabilities including manual data handling
• Undergraduate degree

Nice to Have

• Experience leading a small team or project workstream
• Background in a banking or financial institution environment
• Data management exposure including controls, compliance, and regulatory rules
• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a small group of analysts contributing to regulatory data compliance initiatives
• Provide reporting and insights on team progress and deliverables
• Identify, escalate, and document data risks and project issues
• Support capacity assessment and management of work in progress
• Perform data retention and disposition analysis and documentation activities
• Support identification and cataloguing of existing data assets
• Execute manual data retention and evidencing procedures in alignment with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to achieve compliance requirements and deliverables
