Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (5-7 years) to support procurement system enhancement initiatives within enterprise programs

Join a high-impact enterprise program team driving procurement transformation and strategic enhancement projects. This role provides end-to-end analysis, documentation, and delivery support across system improvements with strong engagement from key business stakeholders. The position offers direct involvement in enterprise-level program work within a collaborative hybrid environment.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, two days in office, generally Wednesday and Thursday

Must Haves

• 5-7 years in business analysis across financial services environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and MS Office for documentation and tracking
• Background in banking or insurance projects with detailed understanding of the IT project lifecycle
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field

Nice to Have

• Experience with procurement processes and workflows within The Bank
• Advanced degree (MBA or similar)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gather, document, and translate requirements for development teams
• Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support decision-making
• Develop and manage user stories and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Support QA and UAT activities for system enhancements
• Serve as liaison between business units and IT teams to deliver procurement system improvements
