Our public sector client is seeking a Senior (Bilingual) Project Manager to lead an enterprise transformation initiative in the loan modernization domain

Join a high-visibility transformation program focused on simplifying and modernizing the end-to-end loan journey for a federal financial organization supporting Canadian entrepreneurs. This role oversees strategic governance, planning, risk and compliance integration, and complex cross-functional delivery. The mandate involves leading multiple interdependent initiatives, ensuring enterprise alignment and measurable performance outcomes. The contract offers a 12-month term with an option to renew for another year in a hybrid model based in Montreal.

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in program/project leadership within banking or financial services delivering cross-functional enterprise initiatives
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation projects involving governance setup, operating models, and large-scale change initiatives
  • Experience managing multi-stream projects, including vendor management and procurement/RFP coordination
  • Proficiency in project governance, scope management, budget control, and executive reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, operations, management, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline
  • Project Management certifications
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder adoption programs
  • Bilingualism (French/English) in speaking, writing, and reading

Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise transformation initiative from planning through execution and closure
  • Define and maintain the overall project roadmap, governance mechanisms, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional and external stakeholders across business and support functions
  • Manage interdependencies among initiatives, ensuring alignment of timelines and deliverables
  • Oversee project budget, change control, and benefits realization frameworks
  • Provide executive-level reporting on status, risks, and outcomes
  • Support organizational change management and transition to operational ownership
