Senior Financial Analyst

• Hybrid - Mandatory in-office days: Mondays and Tuesdays

One Friday per month (typically the 4th Friday)

This position is responsible for end-to-end finance support for Fusion and GRC & Effectiveness, including:

• Month-end close
• Management reporting
• Forecasting and planning (FP&A)

Working closely with business partners and Finance, this role provides value-added financial analysis, advice, and guidance to enable informed decision-making by senior management. The role includes identifying potential issues and risks, recommending solutions, supporting cost reduction initiatives, and driving process improvements.

In addition, this position supports business case preparation by ensuring appropriate financial assumptions related to funding, cost estimates, and ongoing operating costs. The individual ensures that financial standards and The Bank's policies are consistently applied, with a strong focus on integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

Reporting to the Director, Chief Security Office and Threat Management Finance, this position is responsible for end to end finance support for Fusion and GRC & Effectiveness, including month end close, management reporting and forecasting/planning. Working with business partners and finance this individual will provide value-added financial analysis, advice, and guidance aimed at providing decision enablement to senior management. This includes highlighting potential issues/problems and recommending solutions, effectively supporting cost reductions and process improvements.

In addition, this position provides support to the business for business case preparation ensuring appropriate finance assumptions on funding, cost estimates and ongoing costs. This individual ensures that financial standards and The Bank's policies are implemented and adhered to in terms of integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

Must Have Requirement:

• Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting and reporting
• 4-6 years of experience in forecasting and planning
• 4-6 years of experience with month-end close
• Proven ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support cost reductions and process improvements
• Technical Skills: OnePlan, SAP, Excel, Essbase, and Banking financial systems (CMR/IPS)

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting technology or cybersecurity functions
• CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, or CFA designation

MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
