Senior Application Architect (Java) to design and document architectural changes and application changes in the public sector.

Our public sector client requires a Reliability cleared Senior Application Architect (Java) to support the design, development and deployment of the project by designing and documenting architectural changes and application changes. The resource will be responsible for developing and delivering new architectural and software solutions that modernize the legacy technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Test solutions, including Junit test, integration test, regression test, performance testing and load testing
• Create new NIST test packets using Aware NIST Packet Editor, test cases and test scenarios using Automated Functional Testing (AFT) tool
• Develop and deliver technical specifications for enterprise applications with 10,000,000+ yearly transaction rate that integrates with multiple subsystems
• Perform and document technical analysis, options analysis, and impact assessment for change requests and work items using ClearQuest

Must have:

• 10+ years experience with Oracle WebLogic Server
• 10+ years experience with Spring and Spring Integration
• 10+ years experience using SOAP or Restful API
• Experience developing software compliant to ANSI NIST

Nice to have:

• Experience developing Operational Policing Biometric Fingerprint systems
