Senior AI Solutions Developer to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the M365 ecosystem

Our energy and resources client is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Developer to design and deliver enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the M365 ecosystem.

Join a high-impact AI enablement initiative within a leading oil and gas organization driving rapid adoption of Copilot agents across enterprise platforms. This role leads hands-on design, development, and deployment of business-led AI solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment. The position provides direct collaboration with solution designers and leadership to accelerate the organization’s AI roadmap and showcase measurable value through real-world agent delivery.

Duration: 6-month initial contract with a possibility of extension.

Working model: Full-time onsite within downtown Calgary

Must-Haves:

• Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Power Platform, Graph, SharePoint)
• Practical experience executing against a business-led AI roadmap with emphasis on scalable agent development
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy Copilot agents across enterprise systems (ServiceNow, SAP/Joule, Workday, and similar)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Leadership of AI enablement or training initiatives for solution design teams
• Experience chairing or supporting internal AI or technology user groups
• Exposure to responsible AI frameworks and enterprise governance standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Enable and train solution designers and business users on enterprise AI tools and agent development
• Translate business needs into practical, build-ready solutions
• Refine prioritized AI use cases and support their approval through internal forums
• Act as a hands-on builder responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring Copilot agents and AI-enabled solutions across enterprise platforms
• Partner with solution designers and delivery managers to accelerate agent delivery and remove implementation blockers
• Execute against a phased roadmap with a focus on rapid prototyping, accelerated delivery, and measureable business value
• Chair an AI Super User Group to share best practices and drive reuse and consistency
• Support leadership reporting on delivery progress, adoption metrics, and business value achieved
• Own the end-to-end agent lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Develop reusable agent patterns, components, and best practices to support scalable AI adoption across the organization
• Ensure all AI solutions align with enterprise security, governance, privacy, and Responsible AI standards
