Position: Security Assessment Coordinator (Intermediate - SOC 2)


Duration: 7 Months


Location: Brampton, ON - Onsite 4 days/week


Start Date: ASAP


Overview:

Seeking a Security Assessment Coordinator to support a SOC 2 assessment, embedded with Control Gap. Responsible for tracking assessment progress, coordinating stakeholders, and managing documentation throughout the audit lifecycle.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate daily assessment activities and track progress.
  • Schedule and facilitate assessment and follow-up sessions.
  • Collaborate with business units to collect and streamline evidence documentation.
  • Monitor and follow up on assessment findings and evidence requests.
  • Support continuous monitoring to align with security standards.
  • Review and consolidate feedback on draft reports with stakeholders.


Must Have:


  • 3+ years coordinating security assessments/audits.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, NIST CSF, and security maturity frameworks.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
