Radio Technician (2+ years) to support sustainment of 2-way voice radio systems

Our client in Fort McMuarry is hiring a Radio Technician (2+ years) to support sustainment of 2-way voice radio systems

** Candidates must be local to Fort McMurray or be willing to relocate **

Must Have:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Radio Technician
• Experience with ASTRO P25 radio systems, Kenwood, NICE and GenWatch products
• Previous experience with technical troubleshooting
• Previous field experience
• Experience managing/directing a field support team
• Ability to maintain accurate records/databases

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Basic to intermediate networking and IT skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field walks to assess and maintain radio systems and equipment.
• Interact with clients and team members to understand and address their radio communication needs.
• Respond to and manage email inquiries related to radio system issues and requests.
• Diagnose technical problems and coordinate with the appropriate personnel to ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and repair radio systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Be available for on-call duties as required to address urgent technical issues.
