QA Automation Tester

Primary Objectives:

Reporting to the QA Manager, this role is responsible for Quality Assurance Testing in our software development team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviewing designs and writing test plans for designs
• Able to develop test automation suites, design frameworks, and defi ne standards.
• Build new test frameworks and/or extend existing frameworks.
• Create strategies and plans to maintain the automation Test data
• Reviews, evaluates, and derives requirements for testability.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using a varied toolset
• Creating and executing Load Testing scripts
• Identifies opportunities to strengthen the quality assurance capability, such as: sharing expertise to promote technical development, mentoring employees
• Assist QA Manager or Team Lead in creating status and progress reports and testing metrics as required ● Support user acceptance testing phase
• Other duties as assigned by the QA Manager Skills & Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar Quality Assurance role
• Experience with any or all of the following testing tools or frameworks: Cypress, Postman, JMeter
• Demonstrated experience with testing e-commerce web applications and responsive designs for mobile, tablet and desktop browsers

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with testing e-commerce web applications and responsive designs for mobile, tablet and desktop browsers
• Knowledge of the SDLC, testing concepts, methodologies, metrics, automated testing frameworks
• Demonstrated experience with a QA methodology, especially following test plans and verification of design with automated testing tools such as Selenium
• Demonstrated experience testing Javascript applications, working directly with developers on problems
