You will split your time between creating short form 2D animations and editing videos, and producing/updating on brand documents using approved templates (PowerPoint, Word, InDesign). The mix of work will vary by week based on demand. You’ll manage multiple concurrent requests, ensure brand and accessibility compliance, and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
• Performing video and audio editing, balancing audio, creating smooth transitions, and color corrections
• Execute graphic design and production works including resizing, versioning, and layout updates
• Produce motion graphics using existing creative directions and brand systems (short animations, GIFs, lightweight video assets).
• Prepare files for delivery across platforms, ensuring technical accuracy
• Editing html newsletters and preparing them for distribution
• Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve workflow and templates
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Apply brand and accessibility guidelines consistently across all outputs
• Building trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders through excellent delivery
• Design and produce motion graphics and animations for digital, video, presentations, and internal communications
• Build and adapt motion templates for efficient reuse; maintain consistent typography, timing, easing, and brand motion guidelines.
• Edit and version videos (social cutdowns, internal comms, explainer loops): assemble selects, trim, add transitions, basic color correction, audio leveling.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts to align stakeholders
• Execute animation with strong attention to timing, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Prepare captions (SRT/burn in) and simple descriptive audio notes; export deliverables per channel specs using presets.
Graphic design and desktop publishing (light design)
• Execute production tasks including image placement, basic retouching, and vector/icon prep in Photoshop/Illustrator.
• PowerPoint slide clean-up, layout refinement, and visual consistency
• Updating existing brochures, one-pagers, and marketing collateral
• Applying brand standards to pre-existing templates and materials
• Prepare and package final files for digital and print use
• Maintain organized files to support updates, reuse, and versioning
Accessibility and compliance
• Implement accessibility standards (WCAG, AODA) in motion and document outputs (captioning, color contrast, reading order, alt text).
• Perform basic accessibility checks and remediate routine issues; escalate complex cases appropriately.
Project execution and stakeholder coordination
• Manage a consistent workload of motion and production projects independently from assignment to delivery.
• Communicate status, risks, and timelines proactively; clarify inputs and maintain naming/versioning conventions.
• Apply brand, file setup, and version control standards; log time and updates accurately in the project system.
• Navigate ambiguous requirements and make sound judgment calls with guidance
Continuous improvement and team contribution
• Suggest small workflow optimizations (presets, naming schemas, reusable motion elements).
• Share tips and templates with teammates; participate in knowledge sharing as a contributor and learner.
Must Have Requirement:
• 2-4 years in motion graphics, video editing, or graphic design.
• Adobe After Effects: key frame animation (position, scale, rotation, opacity), building illustrations; setting up layers for neat + logical compression.
• Adobe Premiere Pro: video editing, basic assembly, motion integration, creating closed captions and working with descriptive audio, understanding the use of audio/video effects, proficient in using keyframes.
• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop: asset creation, layout, visual refinement, vector clean up.
• MS Office Experience (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint - slide clean-up, layout refinement, and visual consistency).
Nice to Have:
• Adobe Media Encoder for exporting, compression, and delivery of motion and video assets.
• Adobe Audition for basic audio clean-up, leveling, and sound syncing.
• Dreamweaver/HMTL: Ability to make safe HTML edits within templates (e.g., email/newsletter copy, links, alt text, images).
