Hybrid (2 to 3 days in-office)

Office Location: 81 Bay Street, Toronto


Reason the role is open? This is a net-new role. We need this role to build community on social media (by responding to customers in our brand voice and proactively commenting on other social feeds that are relevant).


Job Description:


The Bank is seeking a proactive and personable Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for posting content, engaging with audiences, fostering a vibrant community, and driving audience growth. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for building meaningful connections across social platforms.


Content Posting

Publish content across all relevant social media channels, ensuring consistency with brand voice and objectives.

Schedule and manage posts to maximize reach and engagement.

Audience Engagement

Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social platforms.

Initiate conversations and participate in discussions to foster a positive community atmosphere.

Address questions, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Community Building

Develop and nurture relationships with followers, advocates, and influencers.

Encourage user-generated content and participation in brand initiatives.

Organize and support online events, contests, or campaigns to strengthen community ties.

Analyze engagement metrics and identify opportunities for expansion.

Collaborate with the team to optimize content and outreach for audience growth.

Copywriting

Write compelling and authentic copy for social media posts, stories, and community interactions.

Adapt messaging for various platforms and audience segments.

Maintain consistency in brand tone and messaging across all communications.


Must Have Requirement:

• 2-5 year Proven track record of building and engaging online communities.

• Strong copywriting and communication skills.

• Experience with media channels YouTube, Google, Meta/Facebook, TikTok, Instagram.

• Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms including Hootsuite and Spinklr.

• Ability to analyze engagement data and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Strong Communication Skills.
