Junior Business Intelligence Developer to perform data analysis and build dashboards using Informatica and Power BI for a Supply Chain team (Req 463)

Our public sector client is seeking a Junior Business Intelligence Developer to perform data analysis and build dashboards using Informatica and Power BI for a Supply Chain team

20 hours per week. Candidates must be located in Calgary (Hybrid of 2 days-in office/week)

Must haves:

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst with a focus on building dashboards with Power BI, BusinessObjects or Denodo
• 2+ years of experience with data integration tools (Informatica), Big data frameworks (Hadoop), Cluster computing frameworks such as Spark
• 2+ years of experience in applying data modelling principles such as Kimball Dimensional Modelling
• 2 years' experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQLServer
• 1 year experience using SAP Ariba

Nice to haves:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations.
• Previous experience working with Supply Chain teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis, for market patterns, and trends with procurement data.
• Review and validate data to maintain and build dashboards.
• Collaborate regularly with various business units and staff, including different procurement teams.
• Report/present findings and data-driven recommendations to the leadership and management team.
• Support any data analytics requests from Supply Management
