Description
Our public sector client is seeing a Intermediate Security Analyst to assist with strategic planning and architecture road mapping of a security portfolio
Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada (working Central time hours)
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a Security Analyst with a focus on strategic planning and architecture road mapping capabilities across large-scale environments
- Experience with CIS Controls, NIST 800-207, and related frameworks to enterprise security designs
- Experience producing security architecture artifacts, including threat models, architecture briefs, and control maps
- Proficiency in Zero Trust principles, including identity-centric access, micro-segmentation, continuous trust evaluation, and contextual policy enforcement
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and technical stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing security solutions to meet client’s needs. Consultants are protecting highly sensitive and important information and must do so appropriately.
- Experience assessing potential threat risks to properly protect the company. Security consultants closely monitor these potential risks across many different platforms, including email, databases, and websites.
- Consultants will report on their efforts on a consistent basis.
- Security consultants will oversee and implement encryption management tools.
