Description
Our client is currently looking for an Intermediate Platform engineer with exp with snowflake and Python exp in the financial services industry
Duration: 1 year
Location: Toronto - 3 days on site
Responsibilities:
- working alongside Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers to help them by building, automating, and supporting the platforms they rely on to innovate.
- You will not be tied to a single platform but will work across tools such as Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
- Build and maintain platform components to support AI/ML workflows and data operations
- Develop automation solutions to streamline repetitive or manual tasks
- Support users (e.g., data scientists) who face issues with platform tools and components
- Work across multiple platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
Must Haves:
- Platform Engineering experience (not limited to a single platform)
- Python/scripting exp for scripting and automation
- Exposure to Azure (preferred cloud platform)
- Snowflake or Databricks
Nice to haves:
- AI/ML
- Financial services exp
