Job Description Summary

The role is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and following up on requests for information received by a team. The role makes decisions on their own work methods to provide information for resourcing, budgeting, planning, compliance, tracking, and other services that are often requested. The role exercises independent judgement within defined procedures, providing technical guidance to project team members, and engaging subject matter expertise input on behalf of the team. The role works with limited direction to support the development, implementation and maintenance of technology platforms, processes, procedures and governance models.


Approximately 90% of the work is cybersecurity‑focused, with the remaining 10% related to physical security initiatives.


There will be multiple initiatives under this role. One of the key programs is Microsoft Defender, a regulatory initiative being deployed across the organization’s user environment. While the role may be assigned to support a primary program, the individual will have a broader mandate to manage financials across multiple programs and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Program support, including limited portfolio backfill coverage
  • Portfolio‑level financial management across multiple cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives


How You’ll Succeed

  • Project Coordination - Plan, organize, and manage the implementation of technology projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth execution.
  • Consolidate and integrate work breakdown structures data into a comprehensive schedule.
  • Develop, manage and control schedules by updating and making mitigation decisions and escalating as appropriate to the Project Manager.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and align project goals.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to all parties involved.
  • Process Optimization, Governance and Compliance Adhesion:
  • Develop and refine implementation methodologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of implementation processes and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and validation of systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance meet organizational and client expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address roadblocks or challenges.
  • Budget Management: Create PMLEs for the projects/programs
  • Monitor progress actuals vs estimates and address any variances.

Must Have Requirement:

  • 2-4 years of experience in technology project coordination, supporting system integrations or deployments
  • Strong experience coordinating meetings, taking detailed notes, tracking action items, and following up with cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to proactively monitor project progress, identify issues, and take initiative or escalate as needed
  • Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow, including creating and managing change tickets and coordinating task assignments
  • Experience working with multiple project managers and business stakeholders; strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA or similar)
  • Solid understanding of project financials, including creating PMLEs/PMLs and tracking actuals vs estimates
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for financial tracking and PowerPoint for project reporting
  • Familiarity with SDLC and project delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum)


Nice to Have:

  • Experience working within the security space, particularly cybersecurity
