Intermediate Deskside Analyst (3+ years) to provide Tier II support in Carstairs, Alberta for business software, devices and collaboration spaces in an enterprise environment
Important:
Length: 3 month
100% in office in Carstairs office
Must be able to life and move boxes up to 50 pounds
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Deskside Analyst providing tier 1 and 2 support in an enterprise environment
- Experience technical support, installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the following: desktops, laptops, smartphones, hardware, software, and networks
- Experience with Windows 11, iOS, and Active Directory for computer management.
- Experience deploying, configuring and supporting a variety of business software including Microsoft Office 365 products, Teams, Sharepoint, Adobe professional suite, and SAP client GUI.
- Experience imaging and deploying Windows devices with tolls like Microsoft SCCM, InTune, and Autopilot
- Experience troubleshooting Network related LAN/WAN issues (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Experience in an enterprise print management operation with emphasis on printer setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience with video conferencing (AV/audio visual) systems and support, including video and digital signage.
Nice to have:
- Post-Secondary Degree, Associate Degree, or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study with a minimum of 2 years of related IT experience.
- System administration and IT certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Veeam, or other related vendors are a plus.
- MCSA Certifications
- Experience with Process Control Systems, networking, and the Purdue Model is preferred.
- Experience with major Incident Management Systems (ServiceNow preferred).
- Experience supporting SAP software
What you will be doing:
- Tier I and II support for personal computers, tablets, cellular devices, peripherals and video conferencing.
- Deploy, configure and supports a variety of business software including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe professional suite, and SAP client GUI.
- Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support of computer systems including but not limited to, desktops, laptops, smartphones, printers, and video conferencing equipment and the specialized applications that run on those systems.
- Provide end user support via telephone, remote desktop, and onsite. Provides support for Office 365 and other applications in use at the site. Proactive approach to track, maintain, and manage tasks to continuously improve our existing systems and time-to-resolution for support tickets.
- Support workstations and peripherals including scanners, printers, lab equipment and other specialized hardware.
- Manage imaging and deployment process for Windows devices.
- Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
- Application support for Corporate and locally hosted applications.
